A sketch for conversations proposed by Suza Husse
Lonstrup will present her recent artistic research processes and screen her piece Constructions. The evening will continue by offering the audience a taste of what participation means via a performance game, concluding with a conversation in which audience members can contribute to the topic of participation and political influence.
Lonstrup’s video Constructions explores the modern perception of citizenship in urban planning. She uses staged interviews performed by actors, scripted from interviews with people involved in participatory projects and activist and media projects in the city of Amsterdam.
SixtyEight Art Institute will close for the Christmas break on this evening, 21 December, so we will serve some mulled wine and toast the coming year for SixtyEight Art Institute. All are welcome.
